Integration with Recharge

Recharge helps set up subscriptions and makes it easy for customers to manage deliveries and payments. When you integrate Growave with Recharge, you can reward customers for both subscription sign-ups and regular purchases. This teamwork ensures a smooth connection between subscriptions and customer rewards, making your online store more engaging and satisfying for shoppers.

Step 1: You should have Growave and Recharge both installed on your online store.

Step 2: In Recharge's admin panel, navigate to the 'Products' section, and choose Products. Choose a needed product and click on Manage plans.

Step 3: Click on Add another plan.

Step 4: You can choose a plan type and edit plan details, but mainly scroll down to click on a 'Done' button, and then 'Save plans'.

Step 5: That's it! All plans have been updated for the product.

Step 6: Go to your Growave admin -> Integrations, find the Subscription apps -> click on the Enable button.

Step 7: Settings successfully saved and integration with Recharge completed.

Step 8: Now let's go to the points section. Here we can create and configure discounts to use when subscribing to items through Recharge. Choose "Add ways to spend". There are three standard types of discounts:

  • Amount discount
  • Percentage off
  • Free shipping

You will find an additional block for choosing the method of purchasing when creating these rules:

One-time purchase - the discount will be created for the standard purchases

Subscription - discount will be created for subscription purchases

Both - discounts will be made for both options

NOTE: If a discount is created for subscription purchases, then it only applies to the first subscription cycle - this is the default logic of Shopify discounts for subscriptions.
